Avani Eco club took the students of the 9th standard to an eco-visit to Sediyapu farms of Mr. Janardhan Bhat to learn about different medicinal plants and its habitats, Water purification Unit in Nekkilady near Uppinanagady and The hydroelectric power generator unit of Mr. Suresh Bhat in Balnadu where he generates enough power using rainwater to use the gadgets in his house. The students were escorted by Mrs. Sadhana, Mrs. Nivedita, Mrs.Ashalath and Mrs. Pooja. |

Science model competition
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was remembered with reverence on his death anniversary on 27-07-2018. The V to X std students were given an opportunity to compete exhibiting their Science models. 60 science models from higher primary section, 30 from high school section were exhibited in 6 different topics.

INSEF regional Fair Mangalore held in the Science Center Pilikula Mangalore on 3rd November, Sudana School won 5 prizes.
Sthuthi M S (9th), Daughter of Mr. Srikrishna Ganaraj Bhat and Mrs. Soumya and B Sandhya Prabhu (9th) Daughter of Mr. Ramesh Prabhu and Mrs. Rajani won the grand gold.
Hardhik R Naik (8th), son of Mr. Radhakrishna Naik and Mrs. Harshitha Naik won the Junior gold
Manaswith Shankar (9th), son of Mr. Sathya Shankar and Mrs. Ranjitha Shankar won silver
Abhijna Rao (9th),daughter of Mr. Hariprasad Rao and Mrs. Pooja Rao and Disha R shetty(9th), Daughter of Mr. Rajesh Shetty and Mrs. Jaya R Shetty won Bronze
Lahari V Prabhu (7th) daughter of Mr. Vardaraya Prabhu and Lakshmi S won bronze
These projects were guided by Mrs Harshitha R Naik and Mrs. Sadhana Hebbar
The Gold winners will be participation in the nationals at Rajkot in January 2019
